Base Regulatory Courses

All too often employers, in their attempt to meet Federal Safety requirements, fail to accomplish the most important requirement:  employee training. According to OSHA statistics, the two highest-cited violations are lack of or inadequate employee training and no training documentation. OSHA has taken the position that giving an employee a video tape to watch is inadequate because there is no opportunity to discuss the topics and have questions answered.

Many businesses are required under OSHA regulations to ensure their employees are trained on the hazards in the workplace and appropriate procedures to avoid illness and injury. IMA Risk Control has developed a number of Base Regulatory courses that are applicable to a variety of industries. Courses are available on demand, so there is little or no waiting to have an employee trained and ready to go to work. At the completion of the training, your employees are tested to ensure they understand the material. IMA maintains copies of these records and, should OSHA knock on your door, the training records are available for their review.

Safety Seminars

The IMA Training Center has tapped this rich resource to provide specific safety seminars not covered under the base regulatory courses. Our staff continuously monitors OSHA activity and will develop training programs on any special emphasis programs published by OSHA.
