IMA once again sponsored the Rookie Run at the 6th Annual Fans on the Field 10k and 5k event.  This year’s Fans on the Field race featured the 2nd annual Rookie Run sponsored by IMA.  The run began at Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium.  IMA volunteers cheered as the kids took a quick lap around the stadium before running outside the field and back inside to the finish line.  Kids received a T-shirt, goody bag, free unlimited downloadable photos, lunch and kids activities at the Post Event Tailgate Party.

The event supports the National Sports Center for the Disabled, an organization with a mission to positively impact the lives of people with any physical or mental challenge through quality adaptive recreation programs in more than 20 sports.  The NSCD’s impact on lives is direct, immediate and visible.  More than 23,000 lessons are provided annually.  Marcia Benshoof, president of IMA Benefits, is on the board of directors for NSCD.
