The Denver Business Journal named IMA of Colorado the healthiest employer in the medium sized employer category.  With concerns about health care reform, rising insurance costs and diminishing employee benefits, the DBJ sought to find the metro-area employers who were truly focused on their workers' wellness.  Nominated companies completed a survey, which was subject to verification, that was scored and ranked. 

The Denver Business Journal published an article that quotes IMA president Bob Reiter saying “Sometimes wellness programs are off to the side and are dissociated.  With us, we completely integrated it into what we do as employee owners.”  IMA was recognized for the success of its ibenefit health risk management program, which has not only saved lives but also helped IMA save more than $600,000 per year since 2009 on its health care costs.
