IMA Benefits Hires Brad Cillian to Lead Supplemental Benefits Practice
IMA, Inc., the 11th largest independently owned retail insurance broker in the U.S. with offices in Denver, Dallas, Kansas City, Topeka, and Wichita, today announced that Brad Cillian joined its Denver office as director of the national IMA Benefits Supplemental and Voluntary Benefits Practice.
“IMA Benefits is putting a laser focus on consulting with clients to offer their employees best-in-class voluntary benefits,” said Marcia Benshoof, president of IMA Benefits. “In the wake of health care reform and continued cost escalation for health plans, more employers are turning to IMA for customized supplemental and voluntary benefits solutions that add value for employees while improving overall benefit communications.”
Cillian is a seasoned consultant with experience in both the carrier and broker realms. His team will be working with employers nationwide to create client specific integrated benefit offerings comprised of core benefits, complemented by supplemental offerings that best meet employers overall benefit objectives. Programs can be communicated to employees via face to face meetings with benefit counselors, call center, group meetings and online.
“As IMA continues to work with employers to create a culture of physical and financial well being, a focus on improved employee communications and supplemental benefits is a natural progression for our organization” said Gregg Kamas, vice president and director of IMA’s LifeIQ Health Risk Management practice.
IMA will continue to lead the industry with innovative programs designed to reduce claims costs and improve employee’s health. Employers that provide guarantee issue supplemental products allow employees to select products that best fit their individual protection needs at group rates that are portable. Companies with integrated health, wellness, risk management and supplemental programs can experience lower medical trends, fewer absences, higher productivity and improved employee satisfaction.
