IMA of Colorado, Inc., a subsidiary of the IMA Financial Group, donated $20,000 this week to four local non-profit organizations; The Kempe Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado, Gateway Battered Women’s Services and Colorado I Have A Dream Foundation. Each charitable donation was determined by IMA of Colorado clients who, during the holiday season, designated one of the four non-profits to receive a donation.
“The response was amazing,” said Bob Reiter, President of IMA, Inc., “Our clients and colleagues took the time to make their selections and in doing so are making a difference. The expression of gratitude for using money that would normally be spent on individual holiday gifts was overwhelming.”
IMA first utilized this approach last year with the four non-profit organizations being selected by IMA employees. Responses from clients doubled over last year. “Making a difference in the community is something IMA is committed to and so we are extremely honored to present these gifts on behalf of our clients and employees,” stated Reiter.
