In the News | IMA Hires Susan Johnson as a Commercial Lines Claims Manager

IMA, Inc., the 13th largest independently owned retail insurance broker in the U.S. with offices in Dallas, Denver, Kansas City, Topeka, and Wichita, today announced that Susan Johnson has joined the Wichita office as Commercial Lines Claims Manager.

“Adding top talent to our team is a key ingredient in IMA’s ability to best serve our diverse client base,” said Jeff Grace, president of IMA’s Wichita location.  “Susan’s addition strengthens our claims department and adds depth to our company.”

Susan’s responsibilities at IMA include managing the commercial lines claims department and acting as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers.  She supports marketing efforts by sharing IMA’s claim advocacy philosophy with current or prospective clients.

Susan comes to IMA with eight years of experience as a claims supervisor.  Prior to joining IMA, Susan handled large, complex litigated files, mentored claim representatives, and was responsible for all legal education in Arkansas, Colorado, and Utah for an insurance brokerage.  She earned her bachelor’s degree at Missouri State University in Springfield, Mo. and currently holds the Associate in Claims (AIC) designation.
