JOB DESCRIPTION 
Servicing Account Manager 2 - Private Client Services - Signature Select LLC

We will consider candidates in Denver and Kansas City.

Role:  Provides IMA Services to our personal insurance clients including large complex accounts with no assistance from other team members.  Assists in the training and growth of new hires.

  Major Duties and Responsibilities

40%  Responsible for responding to verbal account servicing needs during the policy year to include:  endorsements, certificates, binders, auto ID cards, and coordination with claims and loss control.  Accountability for maintaining account files to include Sagitta data base, core file and transactional file. E
30% Responsible for preparing the proposal of final coverages for the client and for negotiating coverage and premium issues with the company on renewal business as needed. E
30% Coordinates the preparation of renewal submissions including gathering information, marketing and/or delivery of submission to underwriters, assisting in quote negotiations of coverage and pricing, and client account review meetings. E
  Expectations:  
 
  1. Treat clients with respect and courtesy at all times.
    Cross sell or expand client accounts whenever possible.
  2. Phone calls from clients should be returned the same day.  If call is received after 4:00 or on a day that employee is not in the office, the call should be returned the following work morning.
  3. Policy changes ordered within 24 hours of request.
  4. ID cards for new vehicles should go out the day of request.
  5. Database to be fully loaded on the system on every account.
  6. Diary items maintained on a daily basis.
  7. Expiration lists should be worked daily and non automatic policies should be ordered 30 days prior to expiration.
  8. Binder should be sent to client if policy is not received a minimum of 3 days prior to expiration.
  9. Policies, endorsements, and routine bills processed within 5 working days of receipt. Cancellation notices for non payment should be worked within 1 working day of receipt.
    Employees should be familiar with and follow procedures in the department manual
 
  Knowledge and Skills:  
Experience: 

Six months to two years of similar or related experience.

Education: 

Equivalent to a two year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school.

Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact.  Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or can be of a personal or sensitive nature.  Work may involve motivating or influencing others.  Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary.
  Other Skills: Prefer college graduate. Strong written and oral communications skills.  Ability to interpret insurance documents.  Math skill required involves familiarity with ratios, percentages, discounts and commissions.  Requires strong common sense, ability to handle standard situations and handle and prioritize multiple tasks.  Property and casualty license required for state of business.  Must have general certificate of insurance and fulfill continuing education requirements to retain license. Occasional travel.  Strong computer proficiency.  Willingness to complete additional duties and take on additional responsibility as the need arises.
