Responsibilities |

Responsible for responding to verbal account servicing needs during the policy year to include: endorsements, certificates, binders, auto ID cards, and coordination with claims and loss control. Accountability for maintaining account files to include Sagitta data base, core file and transactional file.

Responsible for preparing the proposal of final coverages for the client and for negotiating coverage and premium issues with the company on renewal business as needed.

Coordinates the preparation of renewal submissions including gathering information, marketing and/or delivery of submission to underwriters, assisting in quote negotiations of coverage and pricing, and client account review meetings.

Experience and Education |
-
Six months to two years of similar or related experience.

Equivalent to a two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school.

Preferred Skills |
-
Prefer college graduate.

Strong written and oral communications skills.

Ability to interpret insurance documents.
-
Math skill required involves familiarity with ratios, percentages, discounts and commissions.
-
Requires strong common sense, ability to handle standard situations and handle and prioritize multiple tasks.

Property and casualty license required for state of business.
-
Must have general certificate of insurance and fulfill continuing education requirements to retain license.

Strong computer proficiency.
-
Occasional travel.
