Kurt D. Watson is President and Chief Operating Officer of The IMA Financial Group, Inc. and has served as a Director since election in March of 1998.
A native of Hays, Kansas and a graduate of the University of Kansas, Mr. Watson spent 23 years in the banking industry, the last 15 years of which were in Executive Management with Bank of America's predecessor Fourth Financial Corporation prior to beginning his career with IMA in 1996.
Mr. Watson is an active community volunteer and has served on several boards. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Emprise Bank, the Board of Directors of Assurex Global, is the Chairman of the Kansas University Endowment Association, is on the Board of Advisors for the Kansas University School of Business, and is president of the Sedgwick County Public Building Commission.
